Function and Usage:

Lumefantrine belongs to the aromatic ring of methanol, actually and quinine, mefloquine belong to the same category, is the initiative of antimalarial drugs, chemical called beta 2, tsuen wan, n-butyl amine [2, 7, 9 - dichloro - to - chlorobenzene methylene - 4 - a + d - ethanol]. Experimental animal efficacy trials show that it has good antimalarial action, but to chloroquine is still showed cross resistance. Experiments show that this product is used in the treatment of falciparum malaria take orally, has the characteristics of high curative effect and side effect is small.Is recommended as a new drug for the treatment of falciparum malaria.

Indications:Lumefantrine is mainly used for the treatment of drug-resistant plasmodium falciparum.
