Description
Poly (vinyl alcohol) shrink butyl aldehyde belong to secondary reactions polymers,is hot melt type resin. Can join thermosetting resin type the crosslinking sclerosis each other. The chemical stable performance. Excellent resistance to chemicals corrosion, resistance to solvent,Resistance to sun exposure, Oxygen and ozone resistance, and the inorganic acid and fat hydrocarbon role.
Function
1. Excellent adhesion to metals, plastics, glass, ceramics, wood, concentrate, leather etc.
2. With very large surface area combined with low molecular weight, product undergoes into solution under mild agitation in a very short time to offer clear transport solution with minimum loss of solvent.
3. Product is soluble in low cost environment friendly solvents like alcohols, glycol ethers &has ability to accept eater, ketones etc.
4. Excellent film formation property. Film being clear, transparent, odourfree and tasteless
5. Excellent pigment wetting in non-aqueous medium
6. Excellent compatibility with other film forming resins like N.C., Epoxy alkyds, phenolics, cellulosics etc.
7. Free hydroxyl groups present in it are chemically reactive and undergo reactions with phenolics, epoxies, isocyanides, melamine aldehyde resins etc.
8. Being lowest molecular weight resin of HAOCHENG series offers excellent flexibility. Product also shows good adhesion resistance, heat resistance, resistance to water and wide range of other chemicals.
9. PVB is a thermoplastic resin with low softening temperature and hence shows good heat sealing properties. Thermo plasticity can be reduced or eliminated completely by cross linking reaction involving free hydroxyl groups.
