Application

Ethylene glycol ether acetate is mainly used as a solvent for metal and furniture spraying, brush painting, protective coatings, dyes, resins, leather and inks, as well as in the formulation of hard surface cleaners such as metals and glass, and as a chemical reagent. Diethylene glycol ether acetate is mainly used as coalescent aid of latex paint. Because of its excellent solubility and slow evaporation rate, it is an ideal solvent in the production of slow-drying nitrocellulose paint, natural paint or spray painting process.

Used for testing latex paint for interior wall decoration of GB18582001, which belongs to VOC gas phase testing.
