Coenzyme A is a coenzyme comprising pantothenic acid, in some enzymatic reactions as the acyl carrier. Macromolecules from pantothenic acid, adenine, ribonucleic acid, phosphoric acid and other components, in combination with acetate to acetyl coenzyme A, thereby entering the oxidation process.
